Blackfire (a poem)

(armedwithcoffee)

Through my eyes, black as coal
Charred pools swirl, the color spins

A burning heart, a fine line
Near me, fear me
Consumed by blackfire

Sacrifice made, turned down the flame
The less you see in me
The less I see in you

I lower
My charcoal eyes
