Donald J. Trump appears to be on some crusade against immigrants in the United States, I know he says only illegal immigrants, but let’s have a look at the immigrants that surround him and his family.

Donald Trump’s grandfather, Frederick Trump (originally Friedrich Trump), was a German-American entrepreneur who played a significant role in the Trump family’s early history. Born on March 14, 1869, in Kallstadt, Germany, Friedrich emigrated to the United States in 1885 at the age of 16 to avoid military service.

U.S. Immigration records. Line 133 notes “Friedr. Trumpf.” age 16, born in Kallstadt, Germany.
After arriving in the U.S., Friedrich worked as a barber before moving west during the Klondike Gold Rush in the late 1890s. In the Yukon, he built his wealth by operating hotels and restaurants catering to miners and prospectors, some of which were rumored to provide more controversial services. After amassing a small fortune, he returned to Germany in 1901, married Elisabeth Christ, and brought her back to America.
The family settled in New York City, where Friedrich continued to invest in real estate, laying the groundwork for the Trump family’s wealth. He died of the Spanish flu in 1918, leaving behind his wife and three children, including Fred Trump, Donald Trump’s father.

Mary Anne MacLeod Trump (1912–2000) was the mother of Donald Trump and a Scottish-American immigrant. She was born on May 10, 1912, in the village of Tong on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland, into a working-class family. Her father was a fisherman, and her family lived modestly in a Gaelic-speaking household.
In 1930, at the age of 18, Mary Anne emigrated to the United States in search of better opportunities, settling in New York City. She initially worked as a domestic servant before meeting and marrying Fred Trump, a real estate developer, in 1936. Together, they raised five children, including Donald Trump, in the Queens borough of New York.
Mary Anne was known for her strong connection to her Scottish heritage, her involvement in her local Presbyterian church, and her support of charitable causes. Despite her humble beginnings, she became part of a wealthy and influential family. She passed away on August 7, 2000, at the age of 88.

Ivana Trump (1949–2022) was a Czech-American businesswoman, fashion designer, author, and former wife of Donald Trump. Born Ivana Zelníčková on February 20, 1949, in Gottwaldov, Czechoslovakia (now Zlín, Czech Republic), she excelled as a skier in her youth. She attended Charles University in Prague, where she studied physical education.
In the 1970s, Ivana emigrated to Canada, where she worked as a ski instructor and model. She met Donald Trump in New York City, and they married in 1977. The couple became a prominent fixture in the 1980s social scene and had three children: Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump.
During their marriage, Ivana played a significant role in Donald Trump’s business empire, taking leadership positions in the Trump Organization, including overseeing the design of the interiors for Trump Tower and managing the Plaza Hotel. Their high-profile marriage ended in a very public divorce in 1992.
After the divorce, Ivana built her brand, launching fashion lines, writing self-help books, and maintaining her media presence. She passed away on July 14, 2022, at the age of 73, following an accidental fall at her New York home.

Melania Trump (born Melanija Knavs on April 26, 1970) is a Slovenian-American former model, businesswoman, and the wife of Donald Trump, serving as the First Lady of the United States from 2017 to 2021. She was born in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, then part of Yugoslavia, and grew up in the town of Sevnica. Her father was a car dealer, and her mother was a patternmaker.
Melania began her modeling career in her teens, working in Milan and Paris before moving to New York City in 1996. She met Donald Trump at a fashion event in 1998, and the two married in 2005 in a high-profile ceremony. They have one son together, Barron Trump, born in 2006.
As First Lady, Melania focused on her “Be Best” initiative, which aimed to promote children’s well-being, tackle cyberbullying, and address opioid abuse. While she maintained a relatively low profile compared to her predecessors, she made an impact through her diplomatic engagements and White House events. After her husband’s presidency, she has largely stayed out of the public eye, focusing on family and personal projects.

Ghislaine Maxwell (born December 25, 1961) is a British socialite and former partner and associate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Born in Maisons-Laffitte, France, and raised in England, she is the daughter of media mogul Robert Maxwell. After her father died in 1991 under controversial circumstances, Ghislaine moved to the United States and became a prominent figure in high society.
Maxwell is widely known for her close relationship with Epstein, with allegations that she played a central role in his sex trafficking network by recruiting and grooming underage girls. In 2020, she was arrested by U.S. authorities and charged with multiple crimes related to the Epstein scandal. In 2021, she was convicted on several counts, including sex trafficking of minors, and sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022.
Her case garnered international attention for its ties to powerful individuals and the broader issues of abuse, privilege, and accountability.

Elon Musk (born June 28, 1971) is a billionaire entrepreneur, inventor, and business magnate known for his role in revolutionizing several industries. Born in Pretoria, South Africa, Musk moved to the United States to attend the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied physics and economics.
I don’t know, but it seems to me that the Trump family is responsible for bringing in more immigrants than the average American.
