His professional journey began in the Irish Defence Forces, honing his skills in security before transitioning to financial operations and management for over 12 years. Following his passion for writing and engineering, John now crafts compelling stories while staying connected with his military roots. When not writing or working on a server’s command line, he enjoys staying active and catching up with old comrades, all while indulging in his love for literature, cinema, and TV. John’s career in fiction novel writing started in 2018 with extended research on a part-time basis for his debut novel. 2024 saw the publication of his debut novel, From Terror to Valor: Echoes and Shadows.
