Did WW2 actually end?

So many people have asked me if there will be a World War 3? I often answer that with another question. Did WW2 actually ended.

The world has been in a constant state of war since the ‘end’ of WW2, below is a list of just some of the global conflicts from 1945 to now.

1945–1989: Cold War and Decolonization Conflicts
First Indochina War (1946–1954): A struggle between the Viet Minh and French colonial forces, leading to Vietnam’s division.​

Korean War (1950–1953): Conflict between North and South Korea, involving UN and Chinese forces.​

Algerian War of Independence (1954–1962): A war against French colonial rule resulting in Algeria’s independence.​

Vietnam War (1955–1975): North Vietnam and the Viet Cong fought against South Vietnam and U.S. forces.​

Portuguese Colonial War (1961–1974): Independence movements in Angola, Mozambique, and Guinea-Bissau against Portuguese rule.​

Six-Day War (1967) and Yom Kippur War (1973): Arab-Israeli conflicts over territorial disputes.​

1990–2001: Post-Cold War Conflicts

Yugoslav Wars (1991–2001): A series of ethnic conflicts following the breakup of Yugoslavia, including the Bosnian and Kosovo Wars. ​

Rwandan Genocide (1994): Mass killings of Tutsi by Hutu extremists, leading to regional instability.​

2001–Present: Global Terrorism and Regional Conflicts
War in Afghanistan (2001–2021): U.S.-led invasion to dismantle al-Qaeda and remove the Taliban from power.​

Iraq War (2003–2011): U.S.-led invasion to overthrow Saddam Hussein, leading to prolonged insurgency.​

Syrian Civil War (2011–present): Multi-faceted conflict involving the Syrian government, opposition groups, ISIS, and international actors.​

Yemen Civil War (2014–present): Conflict between the Houthi movement and the Yemeni government, with regional powers involved.​

Russian invasion of Ukraine (2014–present): Annexation of Crimea and ongoing conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
