History of Sorts

Generally, I steer away from religious blogs, but I felt compelled to write one today.

As a Christian, I am getting increasingly fed up with how Christianity is ridiculed and insulted. It has gotten to the point where some claim that Jesus Christ was a Muslim, even though Islam began centuries after His sacrifice. Does no one care anymore? What is it going to take for Christians to stand up for their faith?

On the other hand, when someone draws a cartoon of Muhammad, they have to fear for their lives—and in many cases, people have actually been killed for it. I am certainly not saying that Christians should resort to violence, but we should speak up when our faith is undermined by lies and half-truths.

It is time for us to be proud Christians again.
